Audio Systems has completed a comprehensive installation of AV equipment in the Swedish National Courts Administration’s newly constructed premises for Norrköping District Court. The goal: to ensure modern, efficient courtroom technology tailored to today’s digital legal processes.
Norrköping’s NewDistrict Court – Sweden’s Most Modern Courthouse
Since its founding in1971, Norrköping District Court had been located on Södra Promenaden. It has now moved to Packhusrondellen, into what is currently Sweden’s most advanced courthouse.
At Packhusgatan, wherethe new building now stands, visitors are welcomed by a striking architectural design that blends security, transparency, and functionality. Enhanced security and state-of-the-art technology were top priorities in the 5,000-square-meter, four-story facility. Judges, lay judges, and court staff now have access to the latest tools to support judicial proceedings in a modern environment.
