Scandic Göteborg Central

With 451 rooms, 1,225 beds, meeting capacity for up to 1,000 people, the city's highest and largest rooftop terrace with panoramic views over the river, the Scandic Gothenburg Central hotel is one of Gothenburg's largest.

Audico started from the brief developed at an early stage, refined and elaborated a solution, based and compliant with product availability according to the pandemic world situation.

The work thus included, design, project management, installation, programming, and commissioning of audio, lighting and visual equipment, as well as infrastructure and control systems for the black box and public areas.

The contract included; an environmental sound system with over 500pcs Yamaha speakers of various models, Projector solution from Barco, Wireless microphones from Sennheiser (6000 system), main PA system from L-acoustic, Crestron Control system, Stage lights and control Grand MA, ADB, Martin, Luminex, Lumipar, stage mechanical equipment in the form of acoustic curtains and lifting system with counters and trolleys (Eurotruss). LED walls came from LG.

Carrying out an installation of this scale during a pandemic period has put a lot of pressure on the innovative mindset of the entire Audico team. The results and the comments and accolades we have received make us look forward to future projects with pleasure.
