Anna K Multi-Functional Space

AnnaK and Kiinko wanted to renew their event and educational space in central Helsinki. The 400 square meters wide area in the 150-year-old building needed a functional AV system that could serve customers both physically and remotely. Audico was responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining the whole AV system.  

The space was equipped with Samsung’s large 130mm wide led screen and comprehensive sound system. Shure’s ceiling microphones with a voice lift system were deployed to minimize movable microphones’ hassle and make the sound equitable to everyone. The system recognizes the speaker’s location, and the sound is played only where needed. To maximize the quality, Genelec’s small speakers were used. With multiple speakers, it was possible to clarify the voice frequency and reduce, for example, the air conditioning hum.

The project’s schedule management was a masterpiece of a great collaboration between different parties. The space was ready for use from the initial decision to the grand opening in under four months. Also, the user feedback from the venue has been great. Especially the lack of microphones has been seen as a game changer, as for some, the hassle with microphones has disturbed their presentations.
