Meyer Sound System Design & Optimization Training Helsinki
Audico Systems is proud to host a two-day professional training on sound system design and optimization in Helsinki on May 15–16, 2025.
The course will be led by Bob McCarthy, Director of System Optimization at Meyer Sound, and one of the most respected voices in the field of professional audio. Known for his influential book “Sound Systems: Design and Optimization” and decades of teaching around the world, McCarthy brings deep expertise and practical insight to this unique event. This is a rare opportunity to learn directly from a global leader in sound system engineering.
About the Course
This in-depth training explores the theory behind sound behavior and how to accurately model and measure acoustic environments. Participants will examine the relationship between MAPP 3D, Meyer Sound’s system design and prediction tool, and FFT-based measurement techniques, gaining a comprehensive understanding of how to design and fine-tune systems in both virtual and real-world settings.
Key topics include:
- Sound system design and simulation using MAPP 3D
- Real-time system measurement and analysis
- Connecting predictive modeling with live measurement data
- Practical techniques for optimizing system performance in real environments
Who Should Attend?
This training is ideal for sound designers, system integrators, and audio engineers working in professional environments who want to elevate their skills using Meyer Sound tools and methodologies.
Participants will also earn 13 AVIXA RU credits (CTS, CTS-D, CTS-I).
